io9 reports that Olivia Wilde has been cast as Justin Timberlake’s mother in the upcoming movie I’m.mortal.
Set in the future, the premise of the movie is that everyone stops aging when they reach 25. Unfortunately, they have to pay for every year they live after 25. Timberlake’s character is accused of killing of rich man for his time (no explanation as to how that works), and he has to go on the run to clear his name. Interestingly, Wilde is actually three years younger than Timberlake–she’s 26 and he’s 29.
The Pulse: I’m already sold on this movie based on the premise alone, but I’m really digging the casting. I like Wilde as an actress, and not just because she’s supernaturally gorgeous, and I’ve been consistently surprised at how appealing Justin Timberlake is as an actor.

Wilde’s casting could very well legitimize the Oedipus complex.
