News

The deal is expected to be announced sometime Wednesday.

ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter is reporting that sources close to the discussion have said Randy Moss will be traded to the Minnesota Vikings Wednesday for a 3rd round draft pick in the 2011 draft.

Schefter said Patriots head coach Bill Belichick called Moss this morning and told him he had been traded, the conversation was reportedly very cordial.

With the Vikings 3rd round pick, the Patriots have two draft choices in each of the first 4 rounds holding Oaklands 1st, Carolina’s second, and Denver’s 4th.

Moss is reportedly excited about going back to the Vikings and teamming up with Brett Favre. (Editorial: As a Vikings fan, I’m excited too. I can’t wait to see how Chilly screws this up. )
