20th Century Fox is letting retailers know that this summer’s tentpole release The A-Team, starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, Sharlto Copley, and Jessica Biel will have its home video release on December 14.
Though the action blockbuster wasn’t the breakout hit of the summer, Joe Caranahan’s inspired take of the ’80s TV series of the same name will surely find its audience on Blu-ray. Both the series and the film center on a team of soldiers framed for a crime they didn’t commit only to become heroes-for-hire while trying to clear their names.
The Blu-ray is set to include both the theatrical cut as well as an extended cut that runs 15 minutes longer with 1080p video, a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and a number of supplements, including: Deleted scenes, Gag reel, Director’s commentary, A-Team highlights mash-up montage, Plan of attack – making of featurette, Character chronicles (one for each member of the A-Team, plus supporting characters), Special effects featurette, Interactive behind-the-scenes featurette with Joe Carnahan and a Digital Copy.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $39.99.
