Bruce Willis Eyeing Heist Flick with 50 Cent

Casting News, News, Projects

One last heist and I’m out. That’s what the aging pro always says before taking on one last job. Films involving heists have always been one of my favorites. From the planning to the execution I sit enthralled watching it play out. From Jules Dassin to Melville to David Mamet the art of the con and the heist allows for some of the best “gotcha” moments in cinema.

Bruce Willis, who has starred in many films involving a heist of some variety (the Die Hard series, for instance), is in talks to star in the actioneer Set Up opposite Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, reports Variety.

Hannibal Films is currently shopping the film to foreign buyers at the American Film Market that is ongoing. Lionsgate will handle Set Up‘s domestic release.

The film is set to involve a group of friends who become involved with a diamond heist which results in deadly consequences.

Paul Walker, who proved with the surprise hit Takers that he’s always game for a heist, is also in talks to join the picture.
