DC’s Captain Marvel (“Shazam”) doppleganger of the Silver Age called Captain Thunder seems to get a nod in the new Return of Black Adam DVD.
After Superman gets hammered by lightning by Black Adam, check out the marks left on the Superman emblem. Similar to Captain Thunder’s emblem.
