Inside Pulse Wrestling’s Report: WWE Monday Night RAW – 11.22.2010: John Cena Leaves the Building and The Era of Awesome Begins

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, TV Shows

Welcome to Inside Pulse Wrestling’s Live Coverage of WWE Monday Night RAW!

We’re LIVE FROM THE IMPACT ZONE!! I mean Orlando! The Nexus make their way out to the ring to open RAW tonight. Mild Cena chants as Wade Barrett takes the microphone. He asks for some order, but is getting none. He crows about last night and we get a louder Cena chant to which Barrett says he fired him. He tries again and he said that Cena looked him in the eye and told him he would do the right thing. He complains that Cena was biased from the beginning. He complains about being attacked by Cena, which is something referees cannot do. It was unjust, unfair, and unprofessionial. This is why he is out here – he wants one more championship match.

Cue the RAW GMail, complete with a “SHUT UP COLE” sign behind him. The RAW GM finds Barrett’s accusations valid. So he gets one more chance…TONIGHT! Barrett is happy about the news so he allows John Cena to return to RAW because he owes it to him to let him say his final words to the WWE Universe.

In other words, if you ordered Survivor Series, you just wasted a portion of your money.

And John Cena is going to be here tonight, but then again, if you use Twitter…you already knew that.

John Cena Says Goodbye

Nice to see that they keep entrance music for someone that is no longer a WWE employee. Here’s some irony for you. There’s a kid in the audience wearing a Miz T-shirt and holding up a pro-Cena sign. John Cena says that this is how you go out. Cena reminds us that he’s fired. He talks about what he did before the WWE. John Cena breaks kayfabe for a bit, but he respects the WWE and everyone that allowed him to be here today. He won’t allow the past two months ruin nine years of his career. He talks about his brother and his mother’s birthday. He’s choking on the microphone, so this becomes something interesting. He wants the women and children to cheer for Cena and every man to say that he sucks. Pure entertainment right here. Before he leaves, he has a message for Wade Barrett. He actually thinks he has a bit of talent. His word of advice: stop taking shortcuts. Cena says karma is a bitch! He leaves a thank you to the WWE Universe. He goes to leave the ring and…

Damnit, I was expecting Nexus coming out to the stage. Cena actually leaves to the back as the fans cry until they are spotted on camera. Cena walks backstage to a crowd from the locker room. He walks by Randy Orton and the two embrace. He the leaves the arena as Wade Barrett mocks Cena’s hand gesture.
