A troubled teenager, Kevin Masterson holds a grudge against super heroes for the death of his father Eric, the original Thunderstrike. Given his fathers mace by Steve Rogers, Kevin has no real idea what to do with the apparently powerless weapon. But when the Rhino attacks a transport vehicle, Kevin tries to save a child from the back seat of a car soon to explode. His mace activates as the car explodes, and Kevin is turned into…..his father? How’s that for powers? Kevin Masterson can call down the lightning and turn into the exact likeness of his father.

Kinda Captain Marvel esque, and by kinda, I mean very. Though it’s just cool to see Thunderstrike back in action.
