Saw The Final Chapter Announced for Blu-ray and DVD

Disc Announcements, News

Game over, man. Game over. This Halloween saw the final chapter in the critically acclaimed Saw series. Well, maybe not critically acclaimed, but the series overall did make tons of money.

Lionsgate has announced that Saw: The Final Chapter will make its way to home video in a variety of formats beginning January 2th. It will be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack (two discs including Blu-ray and DVD – as well as code to download a Digital Copy on iTunes) with a MSRP of $39.99. It will also have a 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack (MSRP: $49.99) and DVD release (MSRP: $29.95).

No specs are given, but both the Blu-ray Combo Packs and DVD will include director and producer commentary, deleted scenes, and music videos. Blu-ray exclusives are to include the special featurette, “52 Ways to Die,” which recounts the traps from all the films. So, in essence, a greatest “deaths” montage.
