Obscuricon: Memories of Bud Bowl I

Features

The Obscuricon opens up on the most eagerly awaited sporting event in beer commercial history: Bud Bowl I. After way too many blow out Super Bowls, audiences were craving something that would keep them glued to the TV set after the second half. Thus the birth of Bud Bowl. This miracle of stop motion animation had beer playing the big game. This was the largest gathering of drunks on TV since the cancellation of Match Game. The games were tight as the bottles clinked all over the field. Oddly enough, the actual Super Bowl wasn’t a blow out.
