Could DC’s Jonah Hex Movie Get An Oscar Nomination?

News

Earlier today the Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences announced that seven films were still being considered for the makeup category at the upcoming 83rd Annual Academy Awards. That on January 22nd, these seven films will be showcased to the makeup branch in ten minute exerpts, with the best three being chosen to then be narrowed to one for the Oscar.

These films, in alphabetical order, are; Alice in Wonderland, Barney’s Vision, The Fighter, Jonah Hex, True Grit, The Way Back, and The Wolfman.

Now, I can’t fathom Jonah Hex actually making it to the finals, let alone win the award, the thought that DC’s big stinker of the year is even being mention just makes me laugh. Imagine that for how hard this movie flopped, and how easily it could be nominated for Razzies, what if it got an Oscar nomination?

That would be hilarious.
