W Magazine has posted an online article and photos that offer audiences their first official look at Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander in David Fincher’s upcoming adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
While Mara has had pictures taken of her in costume by members of the paparazzi, this is the best look we’ve gotten at Mara as Salander. The look may be a bit more supermodel chic than Noomi Rapace appeared in the Sweedish adaptation of the novel but it’s obvious that Mara has transformed herself for the role.
