Disc News: Birdemic: Shock and Terror Dives, Explodes On Blu-ray Next Month

Disc Announcements, News

Severin Films will be releasing Birdemic: Shock and Terror on Blu-ray February 22. One of worst movies I have ever seen, Birdemic might also be one of the most fun. The 2008 ultra low-budget film features everything from Alfred Hitchcock plagiarism to environmental propaganda to special effects that need to be seen to be believed. You can read a full review of the film here.

The disc will come with two audio commentaries — one from director James Nguyen and one from stars Alan Bagh and Whitney Moore. Other features include deleted scenes, a featurette on the film’s Birdemic Experience tour, James Nguyen on “Movie Close Up, a trailer for Birdemic Experience 2010 and a teaser for Moviehead: The James Nguyen Story.

You can pre-order the film at Amazon on DVD or Blu-ray.
