The Tourist Travels to DVD and Blu-ray in March

In an early announcement to retailers, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has scheduled the DVD and Blu-ray releases of The Tourist for March 22. On Blu-ray the film will be available as a single-disc BD and as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack.

During the Golden Globes broadcast, host Ricky Gervais brought it up multiple times, poking fun at the Hollywood Foreign Press for its inclusion in the comedy/musical category for Best Picture. In The Tourist Johnny Depp stars as a mild-mannered American on vacation in Venice who is befriended by a breathtakingly beautiful woman with a mysterious secret (Angelina Jolie).

The DVD carries a MSRP of $28.95 and the Blu-ray is listed at $38.96.
