Fringe – Episode 3-12 Review

Reviews, Shows

“Concentrate and Ask Again” offers two great, diverging images–the hideous flopping bodies and an amazing Anna Torv in the dress–and that’s kind of what holds the episode up. The main plot turns into the usual “stop the bad guys”, while the addition of an undocumented Cortexiphan offers a too-obvious reflection on Olivia and the possibility she may be broken, and that she needs to communicate better.

Peter’s choice of Olivias will determine the fate of both universes in a yet to be seen way, but I have a hard time seeing how this is a tough choice. This is the Olivia he’s known longer, and this is the universe containing everyone he knows. Would he give it all up for the other Olivia who originally deceived him?

Bowling alley guru Sam wrote the books? What?? I’m so confused.

What happened to the implication in the last episode that Peter was changed by the machine?

Score: 8.7/10
