A few weeks ago, I wrote an article about how Michael Young has always put the best interests of the Texas Rangers above his own. Here is a link to the article,

Well, it seems that Michael Young has decided to speak up and requests a trade from the Texas Rangers. As reported here on MLB.com, http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20110207&content_id=16590432&vkey=news_mlb&c_id=mlb, Michael Young has decided he has had enough and wants to be an infielder and not be a Designated Hitter.
General Manager Tom Daniels has indicated that they will work toward trading Young as soon as possible. Stay tuned to see where Young ends up.
