Rampage Jackson vs Rashad Evans II at UFC 130

News

MMA Weekly is reporting that after losing his title shot against Shogun Rua at UFC 128 due to injury Rashad Evans will make his return to in-ring competition at UFC 130, a whole year after he last fought. And to bring what has been a wasted year for Evans full circle he will fight the same man he defeated at UFC 114, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson. Jackson had been due to face Thiago Silva at the event. The fight will be the co-main event of what is a stacked show with the instant rematch for the World Lightweight Title between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard headlining while Frank Mir vs. Roy Nelson and possibly Wanderlei Silva vs. Brian Stann provide support.
