This May, leading up to the biggest decision of the X-Men’s lives, Eisner Award-winning writer Paul Jenkins and rising star artists Robert De La Torre and Laurence Campbell sow seeds of this discontent amongst the ranks of the mutant nation in X-Men: Prelude #1 (of 4)! This goes in line with something Bleeding Cool said the other day, that the X-Men would be broken down into Cyclops’s team against Wolverine’s team. I guess living on an island all military like, with Logan secretly running X-Force, and Scott stretching himself too thin, this isn’t too out there of an idea. But at the same time, we just had a Civil War a few years ago, so let’s hope that this brings enough originality to the table to make it must buy!
