Following his negotiation of an $180 million deal with the New York Yankees, super-agent Scott Boras was fired by Yankees’ first baseman Mark Teixeira yesterday for undisclosed reason. Tex is the second high-profile Yankee to split from Boras in the last few years, following in Alex Rodriguez’s popcorn-eating footsteps.
