I have watched pro wrestling since I was 6 years old. Unbelievably, it’s been 26 years since my first embedded memories of Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, and in that time I couldn’t even calculate how many hours I have spent watching the different TV shows, PPV programs, and live events.
What I have come to learn is that anything really can and will happen in The Wrestling Hours…

Around the Pulse
There is just so much going on these days at Pulse Wrestling that it’s almost hard to keep track. There are so many great new columnists and a few oldies but goodies too.
Rey Mundo simply blew me away in this edition of Suspension of Disbelief that looks at The Rock, John Cena, and the heroic wrestling anti-hero. As I said to Rey both publicly and privately, he is a truly gifted writer and this is the best piece of wrestling feature writing I’ve read ANYWHERE in years. Why? Because Rey puts his entire heart and soul into his columns in such a raw and honest fashion where he doesn’t hold back when it comes to letting the reader in, and that is something very few folks risk or know how to pull off these days.
Meanwhile, Mike Gojira has turned into two amazingly strong efforts analyzing and grading many of the heel stables from pro wrestling’s storied past. The Stomping Ground has become a go-to place for riveting material, and you can see parts 1 and 2 of this retrospective here and here.
Next up is my good friend and colleague FLEA. FLEA is one of the OGs of the Internet Wrestling Community, otherwise known as the IWC. FLEA’s IWC 100 rankings of IWC writers and columnists across with world wide web is stuff of legend these days, but I remember the days not so long ago (though it seems like two lifetimes) where the IWC 100 was THE measuring stick that we all strived to reach. Personally, I was thrilled to be ranked back then when I first started writing for 1wrestling, and I am even more excited to see FLEA back in these parts with the Saturday Evening Post any day of the week he wants, even on a Wednesday.
And if that isn’t enough to satiate your appetite, check out the latest installment of This Week In ‘E from the always-informative, sports-entertaining Mark Allen.
Last but certainly not least, there are so many other amazing efforts from the new breed of columnists here at Pulse Wrestling, so before this space completely fills up with even more pomp and circumstance, I IMPLORE you to CLICK HERE and check out all of the amazing writers who are simply bringing it and bringing it good.
Well, that’s all from me, until next time — CB.
