Believe me when I say this, Sin City is a definite must own on the Blu-ray format. It’s almost a perfect package. The audio and video quality is suburb and it has a wealth of bonus materials. Nearly a dozen featurettes, two commentary tracks, “Recut Stories” (which are recut segments of the movie in chronological order, with about 20 minutes of additional footage overall), and there’s even two Blu-ray exclusives: interactive comic sequence for “The Long Goodbye” segment and a CinExplore feature.
Sin City may just be Robert Rodriguez’s best feature overall in terms of direction and story. And it has one hell of a cast, including Mickey Rourke, Elijah Wood, Carla Gugino, Clive Owen, Benicio Del Toro, Rosario Dawson, Josh Hartnett, Alexis Bledel, Jessica Alba and Bruce Willis.
