A great deal for those who have high anxiety, wear tights, or love to eat beans around a campfire.
The online retailer is advertising the Mel Brooks Collection for Blu-ray as its Deal of the Week. Nine movies in all for $46.99 (53% off suggested list price).
The collection is composed of Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety, History of the World: Part I, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Silent Movie, Spaceballs, To Be or Not to Be, Twelve Chairs and Young Frankenstein. Doing the math, that’s about $5.22 per movie.
To be honest, I’ve probably only seen about half of these, but Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles are classic, and Spaceballs, even with its campy humor, is better than Lucas’s entire prequel trilogy. Plus the comedy teaches young kids to hate yogurt and the proper way to comb the desert.
This collection has never been priced this low on Amazon.com. Act now, because the offer is valid through March 26.
