One of my favorite writer-artists of the 90’s was Adam Warren, who had this awesome cartoony-manga style that was just perfect for Gen13 (which I loved back in the day). Very unique style, very funny writing, and all around a talented guy that not enough people are familiar with. In recent years he’s done some one shots and mini-series for Marvel, but his real baby these days is a book called Empowered that he does for Dark Horse. And using this creation, he went ahead and did a three comic-page rant about the upcoming pilot for Wonder Woman by David E. Kelley…by having Emp thrash it.
