The Wrestling Observer has dismissed reports that Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami has been confirmed as a headlining fight for the UFC’s return to Brazil, saying that “despite rumors” that match had not yet been signed. The story had broken this evening on Brazilian website Tatame that Silva’s training partner Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira had told the website that the fight between Silva and the last man to ‘defeat’ him would take place on August 27th at Rio’s HSBC Arena.
