Michael Clarke Duncan To Voice Kilowog In The Upcoming Green Lantern Movie Starring Ryan Reynolds?

Casting News, News

With the July release date quickly approaching, Green Lantern is in post production, and while stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, and Peter Sarsgaard have finished their work on the movie and are off to promote it, there’s still a lot to be done. Like voicing the Green Lantern Corps, which is, for the most part, done in CGI. This has left them able to wait until now to start getting voice actors to fill those roles, a process which we know to be going on as Geoffrey Rush was signed to voice Tomar Re a few weeks ago. We’ve got a bigger name now though, as the Hollywood Reporter is saying that Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile, Sin City) is in negotiations to voice the drill sergeant of the Corps, Kilowog!

This wouldn’t be Duncan’s first foray into voice acting, but I have to say that his voice would bring a lot to the rough around the edges senior Lantern, and that I, as a fan, hope he winds up with the job.
