Shane Del Rosario Out of “Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum”

News

Undefeated Strikeforce heavyweight fighter Shane Del Rosario has had to withdraw from his upcoming bout with Daniel Cormier at “Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum” after a recent car accident. Del Rosario was coming off of a submission victory over Lavar Johnson in a heavyweight grand prix reserve bout at “Strikeforce and M-1 Global: Fedor vs. Silva.”

KJ Noons and Jorge Masvidal will clash in a lightweight contest that will serve as this fight’s replacement on the card.

“Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum” airs June 18th on Showtime from the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
