Parks and Recreation Episode 3-12 Review: Eagleton

Reviews, Shows

After watching “Eagleton,” I wondered what would have happened if Michael Scott were in the place of Leslie Knope. He probably would throw a huge hissy fit, and followed through with the idea to toss garbage into the Eagleton side instead of finding a creative solution to get back at them. For Ron’s party, it would be overblown and silly. This distinction between Michael and Leslie is part of what makes Parks and Recreation so great.

Leslie Knope is fucking awesome. She funny, charming, enthusiastic, and best of all, a character you can get behind fully. She’s competent at her job and does a fine job explaining why the fence shouldn’t be there. Unfortunately, the snobby Eagleton citizens, with their iPod Touch gift bags (so jealous), weren’t going to listen to anything she had to say.

There wasn’t any Ben and Leslie stuff this week, which was a welcome change.

Score: 9.1/10
