DC Fixes Even More Mistakes In Geoff Johns’ FLASHPOINT #1 Preview From FCBD
by John Babos on May 10, 2011

On the left you have the BEFORE image and on the right you have the AFTER image.

The value of the “error edition” of DC’s Free Comic Book Day 2011 will grow on the secondary if dollar-value is tied to number of mistakes. In addition to DC fixing its horrible colouring job of XS, Flash descendent from the Legion of Super-Heroes 31rst Century, comes some splash page fixes.

The biggies are that Batman is changed from Dick Grayson to Bruce Wayne and John Stewart has his Green Lantern costume updated. Plus, Wonder Woman is back to her original costume.

UPDATE: Mera also appears to be fading, almost like a ghost, in the “fixed” picture compared to her original portrayal.

Also, while we’ve been wondering where Bart Allen / Kid Flash is in this preview comic, notice someone who is actually in it, that perhaps shouldn’t be? Didn’t Hawkgirl just die in the Brightest Day finale? Where is DC editorial? :(

Not good omens for Flashpoint.

FLASH FACTS: Also, don’t forget to check out the “secret” Flashpoint pages from Adventure Comics #526 featuring XS (there’s that name again) and the mystery of Flash Red and Flash Blue. And for all we know about Flashpoint so far, check out the compiled puzzle pieces from the Road to Flashpoint. Plus, here are the first 3 uncorrected pages from the Flashpoint #1 preview as well as the last 4 preview pages .
