Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub Confirmed For UFC 134

Brendan Schaub has the chance to defeat yet another legend in the later Autumn of their career when he faces Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at UFC 134. The fight marks Nogueira’s return to the Octagon, with the first-ever Pride Heavyweight Champion having been out with numerous injuries since being demolished by Cain Velasquez at UFC 110 in February 2010. Incredibly it will be his first ever official MMA fight in his home country with Nogueira joining his peers Anderson Silva and Shogun Rua in headlining the UFC’s return to Brazil. Schaub has been well matched by the UFC since been defeated by Roy Nelson in the final of The Ultimate Finale 10 with victories against faded versions of Gabriel Gonzaga and Mirko Cro Cop in his last two outings.
