Amanda Nunes vs. Julie Kedzie at “Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum”

Twenty-two-year-old striking sensation Amanda Nunes will return to the cage on June 18, when she takes on veteran Julie Kedzie.

Two top contenders in the women’s 145 lb. division will meet up at “Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum” on June 18th. Amanda Nunes, fresh off her 14 second KO of Julia Budd at the January Strikeforce Challengers event, will face off against veteran Julie Kedzie. Kedzie is currently in a four-fight win streak, including a unanimous decision victory over Kaitlin Young in April.

“Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum” features the second half of the Heavyweight Grand Prix quarterfinals, as Josh Barnett fights Brett Rogers and Alistair Overeem battles Fabricio Werdum in the main event. The show will originate from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas and will be available on Showtime.
