A couple days ago we found camcorder footage of a red band trailer for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Now comes an actual, official trailer for the same film.
Based on Stieg Larsson’s posthumously published trilogy dubbed “The Millennium Trilogy” due to the novel focusing on a newspaper of the same name. The book features a disgraced journalist tackling the mystery surrounding the long-unsolved disappearance of an heiress, aided by a computer hacker with a mysterious past.
The film series has already been made once, the film with which this shares the same name on my (and many others) Top 10 of 2010 lists, so it has a lot to live up to.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is scheduled for release on December 21, 2011
