Having secured the broadcast rights for Floyd Mayweather Jr’s return to the ring against WBC Welterweight Champion Victor Ortiz at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday 17th September, HBO will debut the premiere episode of their latest 24/7 series on August 27th at 10pm. 24/7 Mayweather vs Ortiz will run for four episode with the second and third debuting on subsequent Saturdays (3rd and 10th September) and the fourth episode the day before the fight.
This will be Mayweather’s fifth appearance on the award-winning series with his fights against Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manual Marquez and Shane Mosley all having been promoted through the innovative all-access documentary.
