Raw is on, not live, but it’s on. We start the show off with a recap from last week regarding Punk helping Truth win the Tables match and then showing the Promo of the Year.  Nickelback cues up and that means it’s go time!

Cole announces that there will be a triple threat #1 Contender’s Match between Del Rio, Rey, and R-Truth.  And Riley faces Miz.

Cena’s music hits and out comes the Rebel Soldier not looking very excited to be there. He says there are major unrest in the WWE Universe.  Punk said somethings that made WWE angry.  Because of the outbursts he is suspended indefinitely.  Punk is stripped of his right to his last match at Money In The Bank.  He says there will be a triple threat match to determine who takes the honor.  Punk is supposed to be swept under the rug and pretended he never existed.  Cena says the decision sucks.  He says he disagrees with Punk, but he is angry because Punk was suspended for speaking his mind.  Cena found nothing wrong with what Punk said despite it being at his expense.  He asks the audience where does this stop?  He mentions the Daniel Bryan firing, the confiscating of fans’ signs, and Punk being suspended for speaking his mind.  The audience yells First Amendment and Cena says they take that away and that he looks like the Kool-Aid man in jorts.  Cena says what if he can’t be himself?  That’s not why Cena signed up for this and why he defends the WWE title every night.  Cena says that the Anon GM cannot interrupt his tirade tonight because Vince McMahon is on his way.  Cena only wants to talk to him.  John Cena wants answers and no one can give it to him but VKM.  Cena says he wants Punk at MITB regardless of the circumstance.  Cena walks backstage and Kelly and Eve are on their way to the ring but they have to walk through a…

We’re back and it’s Vickie and Dolph coming down to the ring for a party?  Ok.  Vickie says Excuse her… Excuse her.  She says that we are celebrating 4th of July and who better to celebrate than with the United States champion Dolph Ziggler.  Apparently it’s his birthday too?  Vickie starts singing Happy Birthday to him as the crowd boos on.  She asks him if he has a wish before he blows the candles out.  Dolph says that these people have no idea how good they have it because they get to witness him in his prime.  He says there will be Cenas, Ortons, etc but there will never be another Dolph.  He says that the United States Championship is all they need to make Monday Night Raw Perfection.  Kofi comes out and says that this is messed up.  He says Dolph can come out and talk about himself and all that jazz but without Vickie Dolph can’t beat Kofi.  Dolph says Kofi and he used to be on the same level but now Dolph has left him in his dust.  He tells Kofi to leave.  Kofi pushes Dolph into Vickie who plants her butt on the cake.  Kofi and Dolph start brawling and Vickie is bumped into the cake again.  They fight backstage as Vickie slowly walks up the ramp.

A clip is shown backstage and it is Vince McMahon getting out of his limo walking towards the arena.

Commercials.

We’re back and we are treated to yet another video package of last week.

‘No Chance’ is playing and no it has nothing to do with Joel Leonard.  Vince McMahon is on his way down to the ring sporting a light blue suit.  Vince says thanks and says he’s going to say why he suspended CM Punk.  He said he deserved it and says the audience would’ve done the same thing.  He said it was him doing right by the audience.  He suspended him because his contract is almost over and he wanted a bunch of things like limos, DVDs, etc.  From Vince’s standpoint, Punk is a Punk.  Vince tries to leave, but Cena’s music hits and John is on his way down.  Cena says that’s it?  After a huge tirade he’s just suspending him for being a Punk?  Vince said Punk kicked himself to the curb.  John says that VKM is so freedom of speech that he says whatever he wants.  Cena then mocks Vince’s walk and says that VKM was ready for a fight.  He says that Vince is a fighter because he took down Ted Turner.  Punk speaks his mind and then he suspends him.  He says that VKM has gone soft and his grapefruits have shrunk.  Cena says he wants Punk and that maybe VKM should hang it up if he can’t deal with that.  Vince says he really suspended him because he is scared Punk will beat Cena and walk out with the title.  Vince WILL NOT be embarrassed by Punk.  He says that no one wants to see that happen.  Vince says that he’s scared Cena can’t beat Punk.  Cena says he earned his shot and that the people want to see the match.  God forbid we embarrass Mr. McMahon.  Cena says it is one of the biggest shows of the year.  He asks does he have the ability to beat Punk.  He also mentions that Punk rode in his car at WrestleMania 22.  Cena asks what happens if he says something to get under his skin?  Will he suspend him?  Vince says don’t piss him off.  Don’t be Hogan or all of those guys.  He says be a man and talk to him one-on-one.  Cena says he should give these people what they want and stop worrying about being embarrassed.  Vince says he is embarrassing him now. Vince doesn’t care what the people want because it was his company not Cena’s.  Vince says he does what’s right for the company and the people.  Cena says he understands and that he’s not stupid.  Cena says he didn’t sign up for this.  Cena understands that everyone is replaceable, but he busted his ass for this company.  Cena likes to think it stands for something.  He says he earned the right and kicking Punk to the curb makes it pointless.  Cena gives VKM the title and Vince tells him to not walk out and not go anywhere.  Vince walks up the ramp and gets face-to-face with Cena.  He says he hates that this has come between them.  Punk is reinstated, and the match is on.  He tells Cena to wipe that smirk off his face because if he doesn’t win the match… then Cena is FIREEEEDDDDD!

And quite frankly my dear… that’s a wrap.
