UFC Fighter Salaries Revealed for UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin

The Vancouver Athletic Commission released the UFC fighter salaries from UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The PPV took place on June 11th.

UFC heavyweight contender Junior dos Santos was the card’s top earning combatant, earning $200,000 for his unanimous decision victory over Shane Carwin. Carwin pocketed $40,000 in the loss. In the co-main event of the evening, Kenny Florian made his debut at featherweight, earning $130,000 for his win (via unanimous decision) over Diego Nunes, who earned $12,000 for the bout.

With a combined $390,000 in fight purses, dos Santos, Florian and Mark Munoz (who made $60,000 for his razor-thin decision over Demian Maia), the winners of the top three fights on the card accounted for nearly half of the disclosed $782,000 payroll.
