DC Comics Relaunch: DC Confirms Fury Of FirestormS From Gail Simone & Ethan Van Scriver

News

At SDCC it looks like DC has confirmed what we told you about here first. Looks like there will be more than two Firestorms as part of the DC Comics Relaunch. Perhaps even as much as 7 as we noted earlier. And, Ronnie Raymond and Jason Rusch are seperate Firestorms in their own right.

From Gail Simone herself: “This is a complete reimagining of the Firestorm concept… I’m hesitating… there may be many Firestorms.” She also said, “there are Firestorm protocols across the world, so this will be a worldwide book.

It appears there are others across the globe as part of a new Firestorm Protocols. As such, the book will take on a more international adventurous tone. Does that mean that Professor Martin Stein and Mikhail Denisovitch Arkadin (Pozhar) may be their own Firestorms too (they were all part of the matrix in the past)?

Also, on the right, you’ll see the book title that flashed as part of DC Comics powerpoint.

Lastly, I believe wit was co-writer Ethan Scriver that indicated this new Firestorm would be world building and mythology like Green Lantern. If that’s the case, this would all make sense as part of the DC Comics Relaunch.
