News

It was was third time still unlucky as Alessio Sakara withdrew from facing Jorge Rivera at UFC 133, so making it the third time that the fight between the two middleweights had fallen apart. The fight was originally booked for UFC 118 but Rivera withdrew due to injury and the fight was then cancelled again the morning of UFC 122 due to Sakara suffering from a flu-like disease. This time it is a suspected torn ACL that has forced Sakara to withdrew from what has become a troubled return to Philadelphia for the organization. Jorge Rivera who is coming off a controversial loss to Michael Bisping will instead now face Constantinos Phillippou.
