Joe Rogan Out of UFC 134, Featherweight Contender Kenny Florian in Rio
by Scott "Kubryk" Sawitz on August 19, 2011

In the first time in a long time, the Ultimte Fighter 11 finale, Joe Rogan will not be sitting next to Mike Goldberg for UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro< Brazil. Multiple weight class contender Kenny Florian will step into Rogan's place. Rogan and Florian confirmed this on their Twitter accounts.

From Rogan‘s: @OccasionalOther: @joerogan how come you wont be at rio?” I have to film fear factor that week

From Florian‘s: Excited to announce that I’ll be going to Rio this month for #ufc134 to do commentary. Rio is one of my favorite cities in the world.

This won’t be Florian’s first time in the commentator’s booth. Besides being a regular on ESPN’s “MMA Live,” Florian has replaced Rogan each time he’s been away (UFC 83, Ultimate Fight Night 19 and the Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale) as well as having been a commentator for the WEC.
