If Flirts Could Kill – Anna Pacquin Stars in Margaret Trailer

Media, Trailers

Six years is a long time for anything. Margaret has been languishing in post-production hell for that long. After shooting in late 2005, a three-hour cut of the film by late 2006 satisfied Kenneth Lonergan but not Fox Searchlight, who had given Lonergan final cut up to 120 minutes. Lonergan wouldn’t budge from his cut, and Fox Searchlight wouldn’t budge from their demands. The lawyers came out and a year ago Fox Searchlight announced film was completed.

It has a fairly simple but intriguing premise: Margaret (Anna Pacquin) is flirty with a bus driver (Mark Ruffalo) who ends up killing a gal while driving a bus because of her distraction. The film follows as she deals with the aftermath of it all.
