For all the build that their fight would break out over their differences in idealolgy, and for all the attempts Aaron makes to try and seem like it could be about treatment of the kids…the final and eventual cause is classic X-Men. Classic Wolverine. Classic Cyclops.
They fight over Jean.
I mean, they’re pissed off about other stuff, but Jean is the last straw.
And thus the fight is on.
