Triple H Announces Mil Mascaras For WWE Hall Of Fame [Video]

News

Over the weekend, World Wrestling Entertainment traveled to Mexico City for two TV tapings of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, which will air on USA and Syfy this coming week. During the SmackDown taping Triple H came out to make announcement. It wasn’t to cut a promo against John Laurinaitis or to build up his tag team match with CM Punk against the villainous duo of The Miz and R-Truth.

Instead, he came out to announce the first inductee into WWE’s 2012 Hall of Fame class: Mil Mascaras.

World renowned and worshiped in his native country of Mexcio, Mascaras made history as the first masked luchador to compete in Madison Square Garden. The Mexican legend also competed in the 1997 Royal Rumble.

WWE superstar (and current WWE Champion) Alberto Del Rio is scheduled to introduce Mascaras at the Hall of Fame, which will transpire WrestleMania XXVIII weekend on March 31st.
