Wanderlei Silva got in a few quick words with Karyn Bryant about his upcoming co-main event fight at UFC 139. He’s cleared to fight another 20 years, he says.
(Bryant) talks with UFC middleweight Wanderlei Silva at the inaugural Samurai MMA Pro show in Culver City, CA, and hears what he has to say about his own early days as a fighter. He also talks about his upcoming fight with Cung Le at UFC 139, Leben vs Munoz and how he feels about people’s concerns for his safety in the octagon. Wanderlei is training at Kings MMA, and he lets us know if he’s having any fun in Los Angeles.
Let’s hope his record is better than 50% in that time or he’ll be one really effed up grand dad.
About UFC 139 opponent Cung Le:
“You know he’s a really good opponent. I’ve studied his game, and I think he has the best kicks in MMA. I started training the difference of the kickings. I think he’s a great opponent. I hope to give a great show for the fans in San Jose and I hope to make everyone happy there and around the world.”
