Miguel Torres, the former WEC Bantamweight champion, has found a new home as he prepares for his UFC 139 battle with Nick Pace. The team he’s now with: Florida-based “Blackzilians,” the training camp of former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Rashad Evans, Anthony “Rumble” Johnson, and Matt Mitrione.
Since the WEC was absorbed into UFC, Torres is 1-1 with a win over Antonio Banuelos before a loss to Demetrious Johnson. Torres is 2-3 over his last 5 fights.
UFC 139 is November 19th in San Jose, California and Dan Henderson returns to UFC to face Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in the main event of the evening.
