Miguel Torres usually uses his Twitter to share his sense of humor with his fans. His latest Tweet contains some NSFW fighting words, though.
With multiple fighters coming in overweight, the weigh ins for UFC 139 were far from normal. Miguel Torres initially came in at 137 lbs., but after being given time to sweat it out he made the 136 lb. limit without any issues. In the other corner, his opponent Nick Pace tipped the scales at 141 lbs. which is 6 lbs. over the weight limit.
Torres’ camp accepted the bout regardless and Pace will be fined 20% of his purse. After the weigh ins, Torres tweeted some harsh words on the events that occurred at the HP Pavilion.
