1. Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez lip syncing to every song was annoying. I am not sure why, but it was.
2. I like Taylor Swift, but if this is just an ode to her and her albums, the American Music Awards should be renamed. Besides, my favorite Taylor, remains Kelly from 90210.
3. The LMFAO performance was spectacular and a definite improvement from the Adam Lambert disaster. The surprise cameos by David Hasselhoff and Keenan Cahill were great and the final act proved that you don’t always need to shock to pull off a great surprise.
4. Couldn’t believe that Ludacris got literally not reaction when he came out during Enrique’s performance.
5. Nicki Minaj tripping on her shoes and requiring a small army to accept her award made me laugh.
6. Rihanna beating Chris Brown was ironically amusing.
7. How strange was it to see Beyonce and Kelly Rowland competing against each other. Who was the other Destiny’s Child member again?
8. The AMA’s moved seamlessly and proved that hosts aren’t always needed.
9. Couldn’t believe the girl from Suburgatory messed up her only line (when she was introducing Kelly Clarkson).
10. I like Justin Bieber. That wasn’t his best performance and in that regard, I thought Chris Brown stole the show.
