ESPN.com is reporting that up-and-coming UFC light heavyweight contender Phil Davis will finally get his shot at former champion Rashad Evans on January 28th at UFC on Fox 2. The two were originally scheduled for a clash at UFC 133 in Philadelphia this past August, however, Davis was sidelined with a knee injury.
Evans is looking to retain his spot as the top 205 lb. contender with this bout while Davis is hopes to solidify his position among the division’s elite fighters.
UFC on Fox 2 will take place at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
