While it is still unclear who the Sheriff is on Once Upon A Time, it appears that he was originally intended to be the Prince Of Thieves.
While actor Jamie Dornan confirmed that he is not the character he was initially cast to play because of a rights issue, he did say that a guess about him being originally cast as Robin Hood was “probably right.”
