Reports are coming in that online retailers are cancelling pre-orders for Reign of Superman figures by Mattel (click here for original story). When asked why these were canned, Mattel responded with:
We originally considered creating the Superman themed mix to hit shelves in between Wave 20 and the first mix of the All-Stars. We then decided not to proceed with this mix in order to get the All-Stars to shelf as quickly as possible.
So, if you needed some of those old figures that were a bit harder to get like Steel & Eradicator…better hit up ebay.
