Conrad Murray is seeking a public defender to appeal his involuntary manslaughter conviction. He is claiming that he cannot afford to pay for a lawyer out of pocket, but he wants to file papers to appeal. He is currently serving a four year jail sentence for indirectly killing Michael Jackson.
