Thanks to the previews Marvel spent the last month running we knew going in that Falcon was the first target, shot out of the air while the Avengers fought the Lethal Legion. Cable takes him, still alive, and puts him in a tank that will explode if tampered with. He’s bait…for Captain America.
Cable and Cap fight, and it’s pretty awesome, but Cable manages the upper hand in the end. He straps Cap in a chair, says a few words…and seemingly shoots him, presumably in the head.
Though this is hardly the first time Cap has been shot, and it’s also not like we actually see anything here. Just awesome cliffhanger.
