DVD And Blu-ray Deal Of The Day: The Twilight Zone – Complete Series

News

Before Tales from the Darkside and Tales from the Crypt there was Rod Serling’s The Twilight Zone. The anthology series that helped redefine the medium of television had writers such as Charles Beaumont, Ray Bradbury, Harlan Ellison, and Richard Matheson penning teleplays. The series ran from 1959-1964 and totaled 156 episodes. All episodes except those from the fourth season were half-hour shows – season 4 experimented with 60-minute episodes to ho-hum results.

Last year on this day, Amazon.com offered the complete series on DVD for $93.99. Today, the online retailer is offering both the series on DVD and Blu-ray at their lowest price points.

On DVD, the price for The Twilight Zone: The Complete Definitive Collection is $91.99 (69% off its suggested list price).

For those with Blu-ray players, Amazon has the series available as part of The Twilight Zone Season 1-5 Bundle for $152.99 (also 69% off its suggested list price). That’s $30.60 per season.
