When The Vampire Diaries returns this week, Damon, Stefan and Elena will confront each other and one of these will feature one character slapping another. Stefan will be busy dealing with Klaus but look for his friendship with Caroline to continue when she celebrates her birthday in next week’s episode. Speaking of Klaus, it is confirmed he will get a new love interest when the show returns.
As for Bonnie reuniting with her mother, it won’t be the happy reunion most are expecting. In a recent interview, executive producer Julie Plec said that there is a reason why her mother walked away from Mystic Falls.
